About me...

Deciding how to write this was more challenging than I anticipated. If you are seeking therapeutic services, I imagine you may know the experience of feeling alone, defeated, overwhelmed, or stuck; amongst many other kinds of pain and suffering. I can relate to this as I’ve had my own share of pain and struggles which inevitably led me to this field as a clinician.

I’m dedicated to supporting and empowering others through their darkest seasons without judgement. I provide a compassion-centered and trauma-informed approach to support you through your journey of healing and growth, along with feeling deeply understood and seen.  I work with adults facing acute mental health conditions, along with grief, PTSD, Neurodivergence, relationship issues, toxic family systems, and substance misuse. I welcome all BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I’m dedicated to promoting healing, growth, inclusivity, and resilience. I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT techniques, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I maintain a strengths based perspective by building on people’s strengths and resources.

I started at AB-Tech where I obtained my Associates of Arts. I then transferred to Western Carolina University where I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Social Work. Later, I went back to achieve my Masters of Social Work at WCU. I’m now licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate, along with my Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist-Associate. My overall focus is to provide a safe space where you can feel seen and empowered without fear of judgement or stigma.
