About Our Program

Let’s be real: eating disorders are exhausting. They're not just about food or how you feel about your body. They can take over your thoughts, shake your sense of self, and leave you feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to explain and even harder to break.

At Daya Mental Health, we get it. We know how overwhelming it is to struggle with something as constant and necessary as eating. You need food to live, yet the relationship with it feels like a daily battleground. Our program is built for those who are tired of being at war with themselves. You want peace. You want freedom. And you deserve both.

We’re here to support you with compassion and realness…because being human is hard, and recovery from an eating disorder isn’t a tidy process. It’s layered, emotional, and often messy. That’s okay. We’re not here to fix you (you’re not broken). We’re here to walk beside you as you heal and rediscover who you are underneath the noise.

Our care is evidence-based, body-centered, and trauma-informed always delivered with warmth, maybe a little humor but without judgment. We proudly align with Health at Every Size®, and believe deeply that all bodies are good bodies, worthy of connection, respect, and joy.

Each client is paired with a dedicated team: a therapist, a registered dietitian, and a medication provider. Together, we help you move from surviving to thriving, one compassionate step at a time.

At Daya, we’re not just focused on recovery… we’re focused on you learning how to care and support you.

A Comprehensive 12-Week Journey Toward Healing

Whether you’re just starting to think about getting support or you’ve been through more intensive treatment and need something steadier, this is a space to keep moving forward, with support that fits where you are right now. Our outpatient eating disorder program is designed for:

  • Those stepping up from individual outpatient care and needing more structured, team-based support

  • Those stepping down from residential, PHP, or IOP and ready to re-integrate with the world while staying connected to care

  • Those who are brand new to the therapeutic process and not sure where to begin (no prior experience required!)

  • Clients who are in a challenging place in their recovery and need extra wraparound care during high-stress or transitional times

If you’re 18 or older and looking for compassionate, whole-person support, we see you. All genders are welcome, and all parts of you are invited into this process.

What We Treat

We understand that eating disorders rarely show up alone and they never look just one way. Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither is our care. Some of the common concerns we support clients through include:

  • Anorexia Nervosa

  • Bulimia Nervosa

  • Binge Eating Disorder

  • ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)

  • OSFED (Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder)

  • Body image distress

  • Disordered or maladaptive eating patterns

  • Low self-esteem and self-worth

  • Co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more

We work at the intersection of emotional wellness, nervous system regulation, nutrition, and identity because eating disorders don’t just affect the body; they impact the whole person. And our goal is to care for all of you.

What to Expect from Our Program

At Daya, you're not just getting care, you’re getting a team in your corner. Our interdisciplinary team includes:

  • Masters-level Therapists who specialize in eating disorders and the complex emotions that often come with them

  • Registered Dietitians trained in intuitive eating, body neutrality, and nutrition for recovery

  • Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants for compassionate and collaborative medication management

We know there’s no one-size-fits-all solution to healing. That’s why, after completing a thorough clinical assessment, we build a personalized treatment plan just for you which is designed to meet your unique needs, goals, and pace.

Your plan might include a mix of:

  • One-on-one therapy for deep emotional work and personal support

  • Mindful eating sessions to help rebuild trust with food and your body

  • Medication management when needed, to support your mental and emotional stability

  • Group therapy sessions for connection, perspective, and shared healing

  • Dietitian services to help you re-learn how to nourish yourself without fear or shame

Our program typically runs for 12 weeks, with 1 to 3 hours of clinical contact each week depending on your needs and your treatment plan. We stay flexible so that your care can evolve with you. Throughout your time with us, your team will stay in close communication to ensure you’re supported in every aspect of your growth progress… emotionally, physically, and mentally.

  • Are stepping down from residential, PHP, or IOP

  • Need more than once-a-week therapy to feel supported

  • Want a team-based approach without the full schedule of IOP

With a focus on flexibility and personalization, our 12-week program empowers clients to stay engaged in their daily lives (work, school, relationships) while still receiving robust, team-supported care that addresses their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.

Our goal is to meet you where you are and help you keep moving forward.

Why us? Why now?

We know how relentless the cycle can feel when you are caught between wanting freedom and fearing what happens when you let go of control. It's not just about eating. It's about being. Being in your body. Being in relationships. Being in the world.

At Daya Mental Health, we’ve built our program to be a space where you don’t have to pretend everything is fine. You can bring your fears, your resistance, your hope, and your exhaustion and can help hold all of it while addressing how to manage it. We specialize in walking with people who are tired of fighting themselves every day and are ready (or even just maybe ready) to try something different.

We believe that healing happens when you're seen fully and not just as a diagnosis, but as a complex, incredible human who deserves peace, nourishment, and support.

You're not meant to go through this alone. Whether you're still figuring out if you're ready, or you've been trying to recover for years, our team will meet you where you are and guarantee it be done with respect, honesty, and heart.

This isn’t about fixing you.
This is about coming home to yourself.
