ABOUT ME...
I am a LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor), a Licensed Body Positive Facilitator through the Body Positive Institute to treat body image issues through a HAEs Approach (Health at Every Size), and I hold a certificate as a Certified Trauma Support Specialist-Individual from the Arizona Trauma Institute. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California Santa Cruz, and A Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an additional specialization in addiction from Marquette University in Milwaukee.
I have experience in treating Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Addiction Recovery, (including those affected by a loved one’s addiction), Trauma, and Self Esteem. I am LGBTQIA+ identifying and allied, BIPOC identifying and allied, Body Positive, and kink affirming. I take a holistic approach to therapy to incorporate focuses on the mind, the body, the heart, and if applicable one’s culture.
I offer a nonjudgmental, collaborative, and compassion focused approach to therapy. I aim to establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship that is based on mutual respect, trust, and accountability.
